Anyone else really disappointed in Mattel's DC ToyFair offerings?

Looks like the Golden Age of DC product at retail is over. The DKR figures look nice, and the Young Justice figures are okay, but the 6" comic-based offerings are kind of "meh" to me. Jay Garrick and Poison Ivy are very nice looking, but that's about all of the club figures I'm interested in.

Oh well, more money for vintage stuff and Hot Toys!

    Platnium and Tin look Fantastic.
Witha a little Luck ..., Lead should come as an Oversized figure later this year.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

always trading for Hot Toys Figures .

The DCU club figures look to me. I'll probably get some of the All Star figures, Lar Fleeze for sure. Looking forward to Jay Garrick to better fill out the JSA, looking forward to Tin and Platinum. I'm not a big New Gods fan, but Metron looks cool to me. Mirror Master looks cool, too.

Not big on the movie-type figures, unless they are made by Hot Toys. I skipped on buying the Young Justice figures.

And I looking forward to closing out the JLU figures in the fall. Got most of the rest. Might as well get these.

That's certainly enough to keep me poor.

Some of the new Marvel Legends figures look cool. Nighthawk stands out to me.

Retro Action returns, or Mattel won't get a dime out of me.

Another DC Heroes Fan Very Disappointed Here

I am very disappointed not just with Mattel offering of DC Universe offerings but with other company's as well. Sideshow collectibles had acquired the rights to make 1:6 scale DC figures and I was expecting to see what they would be offering... DC Direct same... No Deluxe 1:6 scale figures... Only statues, props and those "52" almost non articulated figures... Last but not least I had a hope (the size of a thin hair), that Mattel would be announcing a DC Retro Action "The Last Wave" MattyCollector exclusive including Robin, Joker, a heroine, and Hawkman.

I'm curious. Is anyone picking up any of the "new 52" figures out there or is this release perceived as a turn off?

I have no interest in them. I like my "Classics"...classic.

Clearly you've never played with DC Universe Classics.

I'll probably pick up Wonder Woman if she's available in the set. Which I assume she will be.

Don't know what to make of their character choices.

The rebranding was supposed to make the line more kid and retail friendly and but the only remotely mass market freindly figures are new 52 Sups and Flash.

Toy Fair this year was disappointing on the whole.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I really felt the new 52 was a risky proposition to merchandise before DC truly knew what they had. It seems that feeling has some merit based on these reactions and the simple fact that many of the "new 52" titles are already falling by the wayside.
