I called them "Monster Hunters" instead of "Monster Fighters". I'm guessing Monster Hunters is already snapped up (isn't there a reality TV series like that)?

These just look plain fun. It's kind of a "duh" concept. Makes you wonder why they haven't done it before since Lego has been making Castles for decades.

Lego did the classic monsters about 9 years ago and they put these guys into the blind bagged sets the last couple of years.

Did they release building sets, or just the figures? I've seen the min-figs in the blind packages. I've been tempted just for the monsters, but I'd probably get a guy in a pith helmet every time.

I know the castles in the 80s had a glow ghost and skeleton. So the germ of the idea has been there for some time.

Thanks to my kids I`ve become awesome at feeling for exactly the ones we want. I`m batting a 1000 right now.

However, I just keep waiting for every girl I`ve ever dated to walk into TRU while I`m feeling every bag.

I showed these pictures to my kids and they were in awe. These are an awesome win.

My kids are totally unpredictable. Ninjago, Star Wars, and Batman - good. I saw the new Dino stuff and thought they'd be all over it - got a meh. Same with Cars - they love the Imaginext; Lego does nothing for them. It's just as well that we don't have space or I'd be buying them for me. In the past week my oldest has put together his pod racers and the Millennium Falcon. Talk about an expensive habit.

The Monster Fighters sets look really sweet. I've been drooling over the The Monster Fighters & The Lord of the Rings Lego set pics all morning....

I collected those sets. I remember them being really hard to hunt down. I think I had to get the big Lab set of off Lego.com.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The last couple of series blind packs did not have a monster figure in them. If they did, I'd definetly get that creature from the black lagoon looking guy. Sometimes I dont know if I get them for my six year old, or me.

I collect these mini figures in the blind packs, only certain ones though, they have the dot codes to identify what figure your getting,it's hard sometimes to spot them but i have had most success at finding the right figures, also the feel technique works too, going back to the monsters.Series 1 Zombie, series 2 Dracula or Vampire, series 3 The Mummy and series 4 Frankensteins Monster and The Werewolf.

These Monster sets look cool,as do the Lord of the Rings Lego, there's just too much to collect
