    Hasbro discusses Avenger figures

Interesting story! And they provide one nice shot of the 3 3/4 inch Hulk figure. Looks good too! But they also indicate they will be making figures in SEVERAL SCALES. Anyone think they might offer some Mego-like figures with cloth outfits? They did it once with the Origins figures. Perhaps they'll revisit that line or something like it again.

    Here's the story...

Hasbro Reveals Action Figures for Marvel's The Avengers | Superhero Hype

This article shows many of the figures in their packages.

MY TRU still has a half aisle of Iron Man 2 and an endcap of PLaymates Start Trek 12" figures mixed with Terminator Salvation. Yeah, My local store sucks. Avengers should do well as long as Hasbro doesn't oversaturate the market.

The Captain America figures moved pretty well around here. They would have moved even better had Hasbro not reshipped the same cases over and over. Same with Thor. I only saw the Warriors Three at retail once. The lag times between waves in these lines is too great.

I picked up a new 5.5? 6? Cap America at Wal Mart today- I grabbed him for the shield which looks like it might size up ok on a Mego. I will post a pic later.

They say they are doing Legend Style 6 inch figures as well. They better not be those lame ones pictured packaged in the link.

                          Interesting.

I love the 3.75 scale, but I never buy movie figures... I always concentrate on comic book versions.

That Avengers Hulk is cool, but there's a new Marvel Universe 3.75 inch Hulk out soon, which has a new sculpt I much prefer.

Same here. If they make any Mego-like figures, I will likely get those. But the standard little figures will get a pass from me. I'm anxious to see what Hot Toys can do with the Hulk. I'm not anxious to see what they would charge though...
