I just thought I would post a pic of my new Marvel Legends Apocalypse BAF Black variant. I always thought there was something not quite right about the original Blue version and this Black version is so much cooler. I started to get the bug to collect Toybiz stuff again recently and I had 3 of the pieces already in packaged figures without even realizing it so its been fun completing this guy and well i really didn't know where else one might appreciate posting this other than the modern toys section.

Well done! I completed a black Apocalypse variant a few years back, and I agree, it's much more impressive than the standard blue. I really miss the Toy-Biz ML days; the line is scheduled to make a comeback (albeit as a Hasbro product) this spring, but I doubt it'll reach the standards set by Toy-Biz.

I've still got quite a few MLs variants/Face Offs to catch up on to complete the entire line loose and I am also enjoying collecting the X-Men X2 United line by Toybiz. You can see a few of them pictured in the background. I just need a loose Bobby Drake (if anyone has one for a reasonable price). Hasbro will never be Toybiz, even if they improve their sculpts, they don't paint the figures with the same detail.

They both look fantastic, but if I had a choice, I'd go for the blue one.
This one and Galactus are still on my want list, but those suckers cost and arm and a leg (how appropriate) to ship...
