So your not having any problems with the webbing coming off around the feet or ankles? I read that concern on Michael Crawford's review. Of course he seems to have really bad luck with figures having production issues.

Out of the two I prefer the Mark IV because of Tony's head and shades and I have always prefered the oval chestplate over the triangular.
Ah! Sounds like your referring to the Mark VI figure if your talking about a haed with a removable faceplate. The Mark V doesn't get any Stark head, which is my oly complaint with it. Would LOVE to have the Mark IV though. The Stark head and donut box alone makes that a classic.

I had mine preordered, then my card expired 1/12 and I just got my replacement yesterday, so it came up on Sideshow's site as "declined." So, I have to give them a ring tomorrow and add the new one on my account. I hope they add me back on quickly, but if I need to wait until March, no prob--there's a lot of stuff I would like to get in the meantime. Might get Cap.

Sweet collection Robin NY! I have a question... I've been thinking about buying the Hot Toys Spider-man and Iron Man Mark Five. I've been hesitant on the Spider-man because his possibility seems limited. Can you put yours in a squat position like he does when he lands with his hands touching out front? If I got one, I would want him to be able to pose like that. But I've never seen anyone set him up like that. I'm thinking it's because they can't. And are you happy with the Mark V Iron Man? I really like his design but I just haven't pulled the trigger. I'm disappointed he doesn't come with a Stark head. I think that has been at the heart of my hesitation.

I just got one of those yesterday (the shelf was empty and they only had one in the back, unfortunately), and a couple of the smaller 13x5.5x5.5 ones. The smaller ones fit my HT Reeve Superman perfectly, but there's no way the Keaton Batman will fit into it with those ears. I'll have to upgrade Supes to the 15" so they match and save the 13" ones for vintage Joes or something. They're pretty nice, especially considering the price!

How'd you get yours so clean, though? I had a heck of a time getting the tape from the interior label off of it, and the adhesive residue kind of smeared. I'm afraid to use Goo Gone on it, because I've seen it cloud plastics. Thanks for any tips!

EDIT: And 'grats on getting the Cap! He looks like a winner, and I keep getting the urge to postpone my preordered Batman and buy one while they're still around.

Well, Cindy convinced me I deserved this figure, and I eventually agreed. I actually got him off of Amazon for a fair price and decent shipping. The price has since went up. He came today. The costume work is insane. I was a bit nervous with the buckle on his shield, and his very stiff elbow joints, but all worked out well. He's now posed along side my Chris Reeve Superman. Maybe Supes found his frozen butt outside the fortress and thawed him out?

I can't find anything wrong with this figure. The perfect collectible from one of my favorite films. Bravo!

    Chris
