Got to see the Captain America at the comic shop the other day... incredible detail. The stitching alone is mind-blowing.

diggin' the Hot Toys Reeve much more than the Matty one.

My one hesitation about the Keaton Batman is the reports of oily discharge from the rubber in earlier iterations of the Bale Batman.
My store in the MEGO MALL!

BUY THE CAPTAIN CANUCK ACTION FIGURE HERE!

The Keaton/Batman outfit is not composed of rubber. It's an entirely different material. If you read Crawford's review, he goes into detail about that.

It's not rubber, some kind of vinyl. Or at least that's what the article said. I'd love to have this figure but I need a better job and more money first. :D

Hot Toys just announced they've got the Batman Returns license and we should get something 4th quarter this year. Time to start saving for that Catwoman. If they're all DX figures, I'm guessing we'll get an extra Keaton version of Bruce Wayne headsculpt to hook all us guys that already got the 89 Bats.

So, you know, we'll finally get that Mr. Mom custom we've all been wanting to do.

I'll get that figure too! 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns' are my favorite films with regards to outfits. Each one has it's own unique look. Both very cool. Awesome news!

It's like what MIB41 and I have been talking about in regards to the Hot Toys figures: I look at them and think of them more as articulated sculptures than action figures or "dolls".

I mean, are you REALLY gonna take a figure out that you likely paid 200+ smackers for and "play" with it? Probably not. No, moreso it's going to sit on a shelf in a nice case or stay minty in box so you can just sit back and admire it and enjoy the fantastic work that the sculptors and detailers put into these things at Hot Toys.

And God forbid it should EVER fall on the floor, especially if there's a dog in the house, 'cause you could likely kiss that figure goodbye.

And mayhap the dog soon after. ::laffs::
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Absolutely true bro. Articulation is a consideration for some figures if you desire a certain pose that is iconic to that character. And where that is needed, Hot Toys has typically identified and addressed that need. But I don't see where I'm going to desire this Batman to pose like say a Hot Toys Spider-man would. This figure will be able to pose in character as he did on film. And most importantly, it LOOKS like him. Can't WAIT to get him. Licking chops.
