I'm honestly not all that familiar with Inframan, but those are still cool looking figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
I saw the trailer for Inframan at a movie theater when I was 6 or 7 and it looked like the MOST amazing movie ever! Unfortunately if it came to a theater near me- I missed it and forgot the title.
Fast forward 32 years and I'm still having the occasional flash back about some wild sci-fi movie that left a major impression on me as a kid- yet I have no idea of the title...until I stumbled on something on Ebay that seemed familiar, started digging around on the internet and found the trailer on Youtube- and yes, it was Super Inframan.
It was the first Chinese "Ultraman" style film and has a small cult following.
I quickly bought the Vcd and while it's not a great movie, it will has a deep anchor in a 7 year old part of my brain.
The pic I posted was a special Vcd release with the Koobo (sp?) Inframan and bone soldier. There was also a black version of the Koobo Inframan that I found rather easily a while back.
The 12 inch figure that JB posted is freakin awesome! And, tough to come by - considered to be a grail by many who collect and appreciate that style of Asian Sci-Fi.
