Of interest of Dungeons and Dragons fans: BBI Legends

There hasn't been much in the way of a D&D style sword and sorcery line in ages. Legends by Blue Box International (BBI) comes pretty close. They are sort of like the Schleich or Papo Knights and fantasy figures but closer to action figures in sculpt and style and way more D&D looking.

The figures are great looking and have removable accesories like action figures but vary in articulation from none to just one or two shoulder joints. Now the Dragons on the other hand are absolutely amazing and very well articulated with even triple jointed necks and opening jaws. The Dragons are like regular action figures.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

These are nice. Really in need of a good fantasy line on the shelves, wish they would take that extra step and make them poseable. The dragons do look amazing. Im hopeing that with the new Clash of the Titans (if it does get made) there will be some cool fantasy type figures back on the shelves.
These also remind me of the hours I use to sit painting minitures back in the day.

Warduke (with the BBI Dragon Rider flame sword) vs the Triple Headed Dragon.

I would have bought a kraken from the last movie.

I apologize for the necro-post, but I wanted to add that ELC, Papo, BBI, Schleich and even Bullyland (from germany) all have some great medieval style figures/monsters/fantasy creatures. Within the last year and a half, I bought some of the BBI figures and those are really neat!
