Gentle Giant 12" Kenner Death Squad Commander Deal

I know some people collect these here. These usually run upwards of $75-80. This site has the Death Squad Commander for $29.99 and shipping is 3 bucks. Plus there is a coupon for an extra $3 off using code GIANTOX. So basically $29.99 shipped. Just in case anyone was interested. Carry on...

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered one. I couldn't get the $3.00 coupon to work, but no worries. I probably needed to set up an account or something. I just did a one time order.

Man, these are awesome. If they weren't so pricey, I'd bite.

I want them, at least the Darth Vader, but they do take up some space!

This deal is tempting, what turns me off is a display of these I saw at a local toyshow. It's an intense space commitment.

yes - I picked up a Boba Fett when they came out and with the backing card and plastic case it is almost like starting up a Shogun shelf. I had to move my Terron and Spice Scout over just to squeeze it in. I had to ditch the Silver Streak altogether

Seriously tho, it is kinda cool to use one (or two) as a WOW factor to accent your SW collections; especially if you are a focus collector. Not sure how many focus collectors of the DS Commander there are, tho. Personally, I would rather spend coin and real estate on the vintage Kenner items.

They get a lot of "WOW" factor hanging up in my store. Admittedly, they are not fast movers. LOL

Thanks for the heads up! Just purchased him. Would love to see more of these at that price. Here is hoping a cantina alien or 4 show up on there!

The coupon wouldn't work for me either, but heck, the shipping was only $3.00.

I think these guys are cool too (especially at this kind of price) but yeah, I'd really have nowhere to put them.

These are just really odd to me, and I say that as an owner of vintage Kenner Star Wars figures.

I just saw a bunch of different ones for $40 each at a toy show today. about a half dozen... Luke, Han, Chewbacca, Sand Person, Jawa off the top of my head.
