Sideshow has officially lost their minds.

Has anybody seen the new "Legendary Scale" Darth Maul?

The LS figures are a new product line of basically half scale figures.

Now, I figured that since a quarter scale figure from them is around $300-400, one twice that size would cost twice as much right? About $600-800, which is a LOT for a figure. I even thought maybe they'd push it to $1000, but NOOOOO.

The price tag is $2000...not including shippping. I can't imagine these selling at all.

Sideshow lost their minds ages ago.

They charge like $150 for the new 12 inch SW figures.
        Why?
Because people wil actually pay that amount...

I always wait until a bargain shows up.
At our annual Scifi show, I just picked up the Medicom Jango Fett and the Sideshow Exclusive Sand Trooper for $50 each, MIB.
        Now that's a normal price...

Agreed. That's why I think the new Marvel Captain Actions are gonna sell like crazy.
Even at $40 for a figure and $30 for a costume set, that's still less than half of what everyone else is charging for a 12" figure these days.
