This GIJoe RAH figure subscription is absolutely underwhelming in every way imo.

I hav eto admit, I do like that figure though. It reminds me of the crazy fun the original RAH line was.

As impressive as the 25th Anniversary RAH format was in terms of sculpt, articulation, accessories etc. As they approach the 30th Anniversary, they might be quickly running out of steam. Was there much interest for the movie figures? I've heard positive things about Renegades, but the figures are just mostly repaints aren't they? Not new sculpts that reflect the animated look.

The format actually has been pretty great when applied to the Marvel figures, with such a deep selection and range of characters that were never previously produced as well.

I'm surprised they haven't applied them more to Star Wars. Added pose-ability might be a a great shot in the arm for that particular line.

I would think Sgt Savage would be announced next.

I'm surprised they haven't exploited the UK Action Force Red Shadows more.

I'm not positive how much reuse the Renegades line consists of (I know the first few waves of figures already look slightly different than initial protos), but I'm LOVING Renegades and the new figures. I think not going with a very animated look makes for much broader appeal among Joe fans. It's a shame the show is on hiatus deathwatch. :(

I hate Renegades, but the figures are mostly new and reflect the animated look, while still fitting in with typical Joe style.

And I love Iron Klaw. This is exactly what the club should be producing. Obscure characters. It's not like Hasbro made this. This is the first sub figure I'm even remotely interested in.

His neck does look a bit long, though.

Hmm...if they made Iron Klaw in 12 inch...I'd have to have one!

They need to bring back the Adventure Team. The last couple tries failed miserably b/c the execution sucked. We need commercials, playsets, vehicles, animals, and of course a worthy adversary who would want to steal all the treasures!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I totally agree, the Renegade line looks great.
