    Batman Animated series toys question

What is considered the definitive Batman Animated Series Batgirl? Something with cartoon accurate colors, fabric cape and leg articulation. The later Mattel ones had fabric capes but useless leg articulation and could barely stand and the Hasbro Wind Blitz Batgirl has a great sculpt but non cartoon colors.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I think there was a repaint of the wind blitz sculpt in accurate colors, not sure about the cape, tho. It might have been and exclusive box set TRU thing.

Never released in accurate BTAS (blue and gray) colors as far as I know. She was released in her TNBA color scheme with that sculpt in several gift sets. That sculpt always had the hard plastic cape. In the last days of Hasbro holding the license, a very odd Batgirl with a new sculpt was released in the TNBA colors as well, in a gift set of female characters at TRU.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to check out the TNBA colored WindBlitz repaints. I like the sculpt and even though the cape is plastic it should be short enough that the figure can still sit in the vehicles.

I just looked at my BTAS shelf, and in addition to the Windblitz sculpt in the TNBA black/yellow/blue colors, Hasbro also released one with a gray body instead of black, somewhat splitting the difference between her two looks on the series.

Why they didn't just release that version with blue gloves and boots is beyond me, but we were lucky to get those I suppose!

The most accurate Batgirl from the Animated Series was a McDonald's toy. I wish she was in scale with the Hasbro figures.

^Yes, she was released in BTAS colors. I never have understood why they released Windblitz Batgirl in that paint scheme. Almost makes you wonder if there was another Batgirl due for release before Windblitz that got shelved when they switched to that D.U.O Force gimmick.

Wasn't there a Target 3-pack, too? I can't recall the paint deco, though.

It think the first of the many gift-sets released by Kenner/Hasbro in the TNBA era was at Target, and it was a 4-pack with Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl in her proper TNBA colors. I think this was the first time the Windblitz BG sculpt was re-released. Then they started a series of these at TRU, where they managed to release figures of characters like Alfred and Jim Gordon.
