Polar Lights new 1966 Batmobile snap kit.

Picked one up today at Hobby Lobby. I tend to avoid car kits because I totally suck at them but I've always wanted a kit of the 66 Batmobile and since it is a snap kit, I thought what the heck. Looks really nice assembled because it has pre-painted pin striping and bat symbols. Comes with pre painted TV Batman and Robin seated figures too.

The downside is it came with a ton of itty bitty darn near microscopic wet and stick decals. Gave up on those. Wouldn't stick and were a major hassle to deal with. Wouldn't really show up anyways once the figures are in.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

It's a real nice looking kit. Unfortunately I broke the little silver radar thingie off the hood. I'm going to have to get some glue for this after all.

I did this one, too, all except the stickers. They were so tiny I didn't even try!

I bought the reissue of the original Aurora kit in the cool tin box. It reminded me that I was never very good at cars and airplanes. I had a buddy that handled most of the car building, while I did the paint. This is more my speed. I may have to pick it up too. Thanks for the pics!

I love Aurora kits and I have been admiring the reissue Aurora Batmobile for quite awhile. But there is no way I could build it. I just cannot do glue cars.
