Hi Everyone,
I recently added this beauty to my collection; it is a 1/48 scale JDF Type 70 Maser Cannon.
After it first showed up in the classic "War of the Gargantuas" it became a standard piece of field armament in nearly every subsequent Kaiju film of the 70's. It is incredibly detailed and the maser cannon itself swivels, elevates, and even lights up; the super-bright white LED lights pulsate just like in the movies - the photo really doesn't do it justice. The box design is also top-notch as you can clearly see.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this rarely seen collectible with the museum community. Why can't American toy companies produce stuff like this? Enjoy!
