Universal Monsters Series 2 Carded Images

DST has released carded images of Universal Monsters Series 2 (TRU exclusives). Dracula looks 1000 x BETTER than the prototype!! So happy to see less of the bags under the eyes and more of a undead flesh tone! Can't wait for these!!

      The Bride looks lovely!
And Dracula looks awesome. Is this the version with the wolf?

They look terrific! I just don't need anymore monster figure lines to collect.

Dracula reminds me a bit of Duncan Regher in The Monster Squad. I think the boy may need these...

These will be available exclusively thru Toys R Us...The other deluxe versions (not shown) of Frank (w/table) and Drac (w/wolf) will be sold thru specialty retailers (online, comic shops, etc.). Also, deluxe Drac will have a diff head sculpt - closed mouth.

Dracula looks good but really doesn't look like any of the Universal Draculas.

They look great. I'm especially liking the Bride. Drac not so much. Too generic and he kind of looks like George Hamilton on the package art. The lack of articulation is a big let down. They are nearly statues. Shame they didn't get the full articulation the Munsters did.

Kind of fragile too. I bought the first series and the Mummy's hands feel off mine when I tried to gently pose it.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That's what a Mummy should be like, falling apart. The thing is 5,000 years old!

That's why I like him. Finally something a bit different. Looking forward to getting mine!

Specialty store versions of Drac and Frank. I like the head sculpt on this Drac better.

I am really looking forward to the next wave of EMCE monsters. The first two were, along with the Treks, my favorite remegos.
