Looks like the JLU folks got a break

    Mattycollector.coms Photos - Mattypalooza 2011 | Facebook

I don't know if the release of these three packs was a result of the Buy STRIPE campaign the save JLU folks ran, but if they got a shot then perhaps Retro might stand a snowball's chance... Depending how far along other figures past Kyle might be in the pipe.

Well, Animal Man is a big win for me but I hold no hope for Retro.

when prices for this line went thru the roof is when I lost all interest. They honestly aren't worth more than 4 or 5 bucks a figure.

Hey Anthony! No my friend, I saw the same question asked about Creeper on another toy board. It is not the same as the Hasbro one sir.

I'm very happy that the JLU line is offering more in 2011. I was one of the many folks who campaigned hard online to keep this excellent line going whereas I totally and completely withdrew my support of the Retro Action line after the horrendous Green Lantern exclusives. The money I would've wasted on the terrible Retro Action GL exclusives, is FAR, FAR better spent on this JLU line. So instead of buying the totally needless GL exclusives once the line was announced dead, I took that money and instead bought up a few JLU Stripe figures and shifted my support to that line, the line that really deserves it. JLU really is the best Super Hero toy line since Mego and Super Powers in my opinion. Retro Action? Well, they had potential but when I think of that goofy-looking and needless Guy Gardner figure, I can't help but say good riddance to the RA line. I can surely survive without whatever poor character choices they would've made next, I'll take my JLU Stripe figures instead. In fact, I'm so bitter about the RA line that I sincerely hope Mattel winds up sitting on an unsold mountain of those ridiculous GL figures...they'd deserve it. Of course neither line stands a snowball's chance in hell of surviving 2011 now anyway.

These packs were announced long before the Save The JLU campaign was created. We had nothing to do with them being offered.

It doesn't matter if the unreleased stuff gets produced...first shot prototypes are in the hands of skilled casters, so they will be offered up for anyone who wishes to purchase them.

                          Peace,

                          Chip

Those JSA figures look great. Johnny thunder and Thunderbolt. Don't think any other line has included them.
