Finally saw the 4 inch ones in person today at Target. They really do look extremely cheap in person. Even worse than I expected.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Looks like even Mattel realized these things are too high. Is it a bad sign this promotion is coming this early in the game?

I have yet to see these in stores, any of them. They have the same articulation as a JLU figure right?

They do share parts from DCUC. That's why they look so weird. The Toon heads don't mix well with the DCUC bodies in my opnion.

Yes. Neck, shoulders and hips. Very dissappointing for the price. Other lines in that scale like SW, GI JOE and the new Bandai Thundercats, etc. are cheaper better sculpted and WAY more articulated. Mattel really dropped the ball on these.

That is a bummer, I wonder if they stand up as good as the JLU figures

Lol, yeah, that would be my guess.

MattyCollector.com reports that Toys "R" Us in the U.S. are offering "Young Justice" fans a great deal starting this weekend. From Sunday, August 28 through Saturday, September 3 when you buy one Young Justice 4.25" basic action figure, you'll get another one free!
Yeah, if I want to go outside in a hurricane Sunday morning then I'll be sure to buy them!

Just saw them yesterday at Wal Mart. 2 variations. some had different paint jobs but no Hall of Justice.
                  I saw deluxe figures too.

Too expensive. I doubt the "Build a .." will be completed ( yes I got burned on the Trek Enterprise build a bridge)
                  overall they were overpriced.

I actually was more interested in the kiddie DC comics stuff. They had a few 5 inch figures that were fun. Penguin,Joker,Mr Freeze (w ice bear) and a Batmobile

I will probably get the deluxe Robin and the Batman/Robin 2-pact at some point. Maybe with birthday money.

If you got repeats of Kirk, Pike, and Scotty, you could complete the front half of it. If you don't have them yet, they are on clearance everywhere. TRU for $3 something, Big Lots for $2 or $3 each. Been tempted to get some for custom fodder.

Our Walmart just got 'em and I was floored at the cheapness of the figures.
Coupled with that price, I will not be getting any.
Hate it because I like Kid Flash as a character.

These are already on clearance at the local Wal-Mart here. That's right, clearance - not on sale - clearance. Still like $9 tho, waaay too high.
