Sweet.....I'll be getting these. Every year I put out my little pvc smurfs with my Christmas decorations. Just a wierd thing I've always done. These should fit in nicley.

I was just checking this out yesterday as I was browsing McDonalds.com. I was curious to see what the latest happy meals toy were and low and behold I seen the cool looking Smurfs. And then I looked at the release date and seen it was for today. How cool is that? I showed them to my gf and she loves them. I will be getting some of those for my gf for sure.

I am so smurfin tired of MacDonalds... My kids love it though so I never catch a smurfin break... I mean I can smurf it every now and again, but every smurfin weekend?! I just can't wait for their smurfin taste pallets to mature..

Very cute...In addition to McDonald's 16 figure set, Schleich has a 6-figure movie figures boxed set (shipping with their other decade commemorative sets), and Jakks has a several-waves range of movie figures (w/slight articulation) and playsets. I've spotted both Schleich and Jakks product at TRU.

I could see these being like the Beanie Baby toys. If I were McDonalds I wouldn't release one of the figures for like 2 weeks. People will just keep buying them until they find it. My McDonalds wouldn't tell you what the character was until you paid. People were actually coming in the door and asking what they were giving out, and leaving and driving to the next McD's.
