I'd like to see a better pic, but there is potential. The only scary part is that if these go gangbusters EE may decide to go this route instead of Re-Mego's. That would suck.

I think this line was always tailor made for a smaller figure. I still think these were the biggest miss as far as licensing/meshing is concerned. They never felt right to me. I'm still happy for others, but not a home run IMO.

I'm sorry but the Venture Bro's is perfect as re-Mego! Come on! I mean its like the show is aimed at the Mego generation. Most of the humor is tailored towards us. Dr. O even made his Order of the Triad figures from old Mego's. Let them sell the little figures to whomever will buy em. But Make mine Re-Mego or nothin.

Exactly... readers of my blog appear to feel the same way. IMO there has never been a better marriage of license and product. They work so well as figures that if not for them I never would have given the show a chance. Seriously.

Now I'm hooked... have a loose and carded collection (sans loose Dean, one day soon) and I've also made my first EVER pre-order for Dr.Orpheous and Phantom Limb.

Long live 8 inch Team Venture!

I like the Emce figures, but these have character likeness the Mego-style will never have. The body styles don't match very well. I do love the eight inch figures, even if they don't look right.

These looked wonderful in person, but I don't think they'll challenge the Mego style immediately.

I'm still voting eMCe/BBP on VB items, but I hope with these they give a throwback to the 70s/80s small scale figures and have 5 cutjoint style articulation.

I've heard elsewhere there is no 21 or 24 in the first three waves. Just a regular generic Henchman. I see that as another strike against it.

The ReMego are very cool. But a fully sculpted figure was always where this needed to be. It is true to the Cartoon....and I think these do it justice. The ReMego are a gas! And really cool. But only a fully sculpted figure could really capture the animation.

                              Hmmmm....

They're neat, but I prefer the 8" ones. 'Specially if these end up not being a lot cheaper. Although it DOES open the door for playsets.
