Matty Announces Club Infinite Earths for DC Universe - The DC Universe Classics (DCUC) Info Archive

With the all-new 2012 Club Infinite Earths, the DC Universe becomes part of the Mattel subscription family for the first time. While you’ll still find 6″ figures at retail, MattyCollector.com will be the only place to get fan-demanded and true collector characters!

This club is 100% the result of fan requests. In order to make it happen, we need to reach a certain number of subscriptions. Throughout the subscription sign-up period, the thermometer will be updated to show how close we are. If we don’t hit the goal, then we won’t be able to offer the club. But if we do (and we really hope we do), then the club’s a “go” and you can look forward to the ultimate DC Universe toy collecting experience!

Exactly. I'd jump on a Retro-action subscription in a heartbeat. I love DCUC, but I don't buy every figure, so I'm not sure I'll bit on this.

Well they certainly seem open to "outside the box" thinking.....maybe we have a shot!

They Say it's like 9 regular figures at 15 Bucks each ... then 3 Larger figures at 30 bucks each ... so it's like 225 before shipping I think ...

I'm on the Fence with this ..
I wish they would tell us what characters are being perposed for the Sub. I have almost every DCU Classic but like 5 of them ..., and still needing Wave 17 ..., But I could see certain characters me not even having interest, But aton I do have interest in.

Here is what I'm really wondering... When you've now got everyone from the Metal Men, Doom Patrol, and the broccoli green lantern, Jonah Hex, bronze tiger, already selling in TRU or Walmart... What would be considered on this list that wouldn't hit normal retail in a regular wave eventually?

Brother power? The Green Team? Stanley and his Monster?

Well ... We are still Missing 3 Members to Doom Patrol ... as well as 3 Members from Metal Men ...

But .. I dunno.
Some real Obscure Folks would be in this line up for sure ... And Maybe something Like Amanda Waller and Granny Goodness .... I personally wouldn't mind a Shinning Knight with A Winged Victory..., or Even a Western Vigilantee with a MotoCycle. ... Ragman, or Scandle Savage, or Janette ... Hell, just make it a Chick figure Exclusive at this point, since Mattel doesn't want Females at retail based on sales....and thoughts. So they only Gave Us 1 Chick in the last 3 Wave... 2 in the Last 5 if you count the GL Classics...
