    Spiderman Adventure Heroes

Found these at TJ Maxx tonight while looking for DCUC.

I had no idea about these. Been a long time since I was actually surprised finding a toy. These two were the only ones they had. No idea if there are more in the set. They are sort of like the DC Imaginext figures but nicer. They are not so cute and are more like shrunk down regular action figures.

When I see all the great Marvel toys out there sometimes I really wish Hasbro still had the DC license.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Cool I didn't know about the three packs, and the price looks good too.

They are also making Star Wars versions...

The Adventure Heroes are different from the Super Hero Squad and Heroes toys. The Adventure heroes are stylized but are not sculpted to look like little kids. They have adult proportions and they have five fingers instead of four like the Super Hero Squad and Hero lines. The only sets in the Adventure heroes lines are Marvel, Firemen and Police.

Whoa you're right, that is weird. At first glance I thought they belonged to this line...

Which the Star Wars stuff I linked to earlier is sort a part of. I understand the Galactic Heroes and Super Hero Squad is totally different, The new stuff (my links) are in scale with the Imaginext stuff is this line larger?

Yeah, think they are rougly the same height as the Imaginext figures but the sculpting style is totally different. They are stylized but more like an animated series style and don't look like little kids.

They're really nice. First Marvel toys I've bought in ages.

Wow, that is really weird that they would be similar in scale and a little different in sculpt. Huh, go figure. Thanks for the reply! I am going to have to try and hit up a TJ max and check these out.

I saw the Spidey/Doc Ock/Iron Man set a few months ago at a nearby Wal-Mart. Only place I've ever seen these.

Looks like Hasbro/Playskool is going more in the Imaginext route now:
