1966 Batmobile Ornament

I went to Hallmark today to buy a card and saw this year's Christmas ornaments are already out. There are several for the nerd persuasion including Green Lantern, Batman, Spidey, Thor and Star Trek. Probably the coolest of them all was the 1966 Batmobile... I may have to break my usual "wait until after Christmas when they are half off" rule and get one in case it sells out.

It seems that they are getting eairlier every year with their Christmas onaments.

My mom used to manage a Hallmark store, and the ornament premiere was always in July (or maybe August, but always in the summer). When I got older I got to help set up the display. It was a lot of fun to open up each ornament and "play" with it before hanging it on the peg. They had a big reception for the premiere, it was like Hollywood here in Podunk.

Got mine today! It is AWESOME!

And the GL ornament isn't half-bad either...but a light up Lantern would've been better
