Super Poseable Godzilla Toys Debut in November

The official details and pictures are up for the first ever hyper poseable Godzilla toy line from Bandai. These figures will have around 29 points of articulation and are set to rival Bandai's S.H. Figuarts toy line in quality and design. These will feature popular Godzilla characters and likely other monsters from Toho.

First up is Heisei Godzilla, followed my Heisei MechaGodzilla. More photos and details here: Bandai Officially Announces S.H. MonsterArts

6 inch figure for 75 bucks, that loses me. And I've wanted good Zilla figures forever.

He better be able to pick up a Hot Wheels and chew it in half for that kind of money.

Sweet. But 75 bucks IS a little steep. Maybe they'll mark 'em down eventually...
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

This is why I have never been able to get into the Bandai collections. Their impossibly overpriced for what you get. It would be nice to actually see a fully articulated Ultraman in the eight inch format, but the Japanese haven't figured that one out yet. They would likely want my house for it anyway.

I sometimes feel like us toy collectors are part of the Matrix. The big toy companies have us plugged into the system and living off of us like we're batteries providing their juice. As long as people are saying "I'd totally pay $300 for that!!!", pricing are going to go up and up.
$75 for a six inch toy is too steep. And do we really need 30 points of articulation for a character that basically waddles across the landscape?

Sorry, Bandai. You can keep those. I don't have enough of a need for that level of articulation in a package that small to pay that much money for it.

Probably one of Bandai USA's large vinyl figures, available gleefully off the shelf at your local Toy R Us for less than $30.

Which part broke? The shoulder connector on mine keeps coming off every time I try and move the shoulder for pose. Seems the costume is just too bulky. Plus he looks chunky. Would look better leaner, IMO. But nonetheless, he rocks! He's up there along with Ultraman.
