    Anyone collect Hot Wheels?

I've just got interested in buying Hot Wheels. However, I do like to open them up and play with them too. My daughter has a good amount of track, and we have a blast with them.

I've been looking for the Bugatti Veyron, and wondered if anyone had a extra they would part with? I'm a huge Top Gear fan (BBC version) and I love the Bugatti

    Thanks
    Mitch

My Dad and I have been collecting since 1991. I stopped in 2001. He just stopped this year. I bet he would sell his entire collection to you.

Do you know the series and number the car is from you're looking for? Or how many times it's been released.

I used to be HUGE into Hot Wheels. I started collecting back in late 94 right before Treasure Hunts were even known about. That was a great time to start collecting.

I do not collect much of the new 2010 + cars. I kind of started tapering off my collecting habits in or around 2008. I now only buy the cool cars that I really like vs. I got to have everything just because it is a Hot Wheel.

I could not even begin to tell you how many cars I have accumulated over the years. Some would say too many. People ask me all of the time how many cars do you actually have? I honestly have no friggin idea, but the number is staggering.

I used to buy cars 100 to 200 at a time almost on a daily basis. Now I focus mainly on Mego's as they are truly my real favorite toy line of choice. And Mego's are much easier to keep up with collection wise.

I wish I could help you out on your want list above. The fact is I just have so much stuff stacked up in totes and not really organized at all. I would have no idea as to where to start looking.

I was a buyer more than a seller or trader as it pertains to Hot Wheels. Therefore, I never really even thought about organizing stuff earlier on. I just bought stacked and stored.

Anyway...Good luck with the hunt. One nice thing about Hot Wheels is there are PLENTY of collectors out there. So finding what you need will not be difficult.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I've limited myself to the 60's and 70's muscle cars and the exotic sports cars. Plus a few track stars so I can race on the hot wheels tracks.

I'm not really a collector. But I have some track and some cars and enjoy playing w/ them at home and w/ my class at school.

Pretty much the same here for the exception of the track star cars. You definitely cannot go wrong with muscle cars and exotic sports cars.

I have some later issue HW cars but preferred the Johnny Lightning ones as they are a better quality and look nicer IMHO.

I mostly have a fairly decent sized Redline collection and tracks and such from the same era.
