Yeah, I know doll stuff...ewwwww, that's for girls! But this is such a great thing, I had to post on it. For anyone who grew up in the 70s you'll appreciate this...

American Girls Sound Accessories

This is a record player and tape player for the "Julie" doll. It comes w/ 3 70s "records"; Shining Star, Saturday In The Park and Love's Theme and a little record tote to put them in. The records really spin when you put the arm on them, and actually play 1 minute of each song. The tape player will record and play 30 seconds of sound. I had such a blast playing w/ this thing. I think it's fun for kids of all ages! (Even yucky BOYS! )

Oh I know! (see my post about American Girl vs. Springfield Collection) I was really agonizing over buying this, but it's such a novel idea, that I had to have it, and I'm glad I did!

My wife got the American Girl Barbie hair style head-thingee a few years back. Just like the 70s version, but scaled to the American Girl dolls. I think Mattel makes these now, right?

very cool, yeah Chris Mattel took over but they're still just as expensive..My mom loves these...a few months ago i walked into a thrift shop and picked up 5 of them for $4 a piece
