    Question about Captain America toys

I understand they have released Captain America "Comic Collection" figures ahead of the actual film-based figures (while still using the movie logo), but does anyone know if any of these figure into the film itself? Specifically, I was wondering about the appearance of figures of Captain Britain and US Agent, and if they might appear as some part of the Allied effort in the war or something. Anyone know?

No idea on Captain Britian or USAgent. But I have seen a few figures of Cap in the movie uniform in stores.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

While it's impossible to say for certain without having seen the film, the smart answer here is no, not likely. Hasbro has employed a strategy for the past few films to release extra characters that are "comic based" as well as "concept based" (Wacky alternate outfits) to help the line sustain at retail. Typically movies only give you a handful of characters in a mythos to work with, so by expanding to include non-movie characters, they can breathe more life into the line.

That's what I figured, but considering Thor has several characters in it, and Green Lantern has so many of the corps, I thought there might be a chance the film could have glimpses of some of these other characters.

Captain Britain definitely wouldn't appear in the movie's WW2 setting, as he wasn't around then.
Union Jack on the other hand, is one of Cap's old wartime allies, and is supposedly in the movie. (IMDB lists him as being played by JJ Feild).

But I haven't seen a Union Jack figure mentioned in the movie line yet.

I know following the comics would keep Capt. Britain out, but given the free hand some films take, I wasn't sure what might end up.

Is there any word on just how many of the Invaders might appear beside Union Jack?

I'd love to see all of them, but so far the only characters confirmed in the cast list are Union Jack and Bucky... and it's unknown if they'll appear in costume or just in civvies.
It'd be so cool to see Namor and the original Torch, etc. in there somewhere!
