Ok, this is just beyond ridiculous! One of the kids at my school just got this thing for her birthday. Now a simple thing like playing house w/ your dolls has to turn into a VIDEO GAME??? Forget imagination, let the video game do it for you! Everyone complains about kids vegging out in front of video games, and yet, people find new ways to keep them doing just that! AARRGGHHHH!

It's a spin off of the Cooking Mama series which really aren't bad games. It's a baby sitting game that uses the plush doll as a controller. It's not meant to replace dolls. I have zero interest in it, but it's harmless.

I tend not to get worked up about this sort of thing. People have been complaining about video games since the Atari. Centipede and Burger Time didn't turn me into a lazy psycho.

Plenty of physically active and excercise video games out there for kids too.
