Green Lantern Hot Wheels

Saw a bunch of Hot Wheels cars today at Wal-Mart..some had a Green Lantern banner across the top of the card, yet they were regular cars. Didn't see any GL paint jobs...anyone know anything about these? The GL banner cars were not in short supply.

I saw them at a toy show today, and the Hot Wheels dealer filled me in.

Basically, the ones with the banner ads are simply that... banner ads. Just like the top of current DC comic books.

Except for the one car which has a Green Lantern Logo on the top of the card... on the back of that card, it claims that Hal Jordan drives this car (it's a regular car).

Yep, I found one a week ago and thought that maybe it might be some kind of a variation. Then the next day or so I went back and seen a ton of them. What a great way to advertise.

Pretty cool stuff. I really like the graphics. I was hoping that Hotwheels would do some special type of stuff for Green Lantern.

I found the Hal Jordan car today. I guess this is what he drives in the movie? If so, pretty cool.

I also saw a bunch of the non-GL cars with the ad on top. WB is really going all out with the blitzing of this flick.

Oh, and I picked up a Hot Wheels 81 Delorean for the boy. He loves Back to the Future!
