Sideshows Kate Beckingsales Van Helsing 12in Figure

i just looked at my Kate Beckingsale Sideshow figure, which has been laying in my room in its unopened box with the main lid closed. figure never opened nor removed from its box, and guess what I find? Her forehead is starting to turn Zombie gray, just like some 12in Mego figures. I would have thought the way to make newer figures had changed? whats up with this? sideshow is supose to be a place where collectors go to collect well made collectibles. Anyone else expirence this with any of there other figures from sideshow? I would like to know. Thanks for reading.

Ooh. Wow. That stinks. You would think they would have learned from Mego's mistakes, but I guess not.

I've never heard of this. The oldest 12" Sideshow figures are the Universal Monsters, so maybe some of those have started to "turn". Then again it'd be harder to notice on them...

Wow! Gonna suck if the super high priced Hot Toys stuff turns grey in a few years.

Please keep us posted as to what becomes of this. I have a lot of Sideshow Toys and will be majorly bummed if their heads greyed.

Coincidentally, I spotted a Jackman Van Helsing sideshow figure this weekend at Wizard World (they were asking $20 for him). His head looked okay to me, but I wasn't examining it that closely.
