Young Justice next up in McDonald's Happy Meals

Superman Homepage - News: March 1, 2011: McDonalds to Offer Young Justice Happy Meal Toys

I saw a teaser for this on my daughter's Happy Meal box last night, and then Superman Homepage had pics this morning.

Cool to get Superman, Batman and Captain Cold, but why is Robin ALWAYS on a motorcycle? UGH!!!

*sigh* I guess I'll be eating some happy meals then.

It is a shame that the girl-superheroes don't get this kind of love. But that is probably the nature of McDonald's decision to divide between "girls" and "boys" toys.

I know my six year old niece tends to bristle at that since she wants the superheroes.

If for some reason you CANT get these, (maybe you live in the deep Congo or on the Moon?) I'm sure I can easily get them....It seems like there are 20+ McDs within an eight mile radius...

Samurainoir - NO - They are TOXIC! ....Just buy the little figures by themselves for .99...they sell them this way as well... As to the 'sexist nature' of the toys themselves, I completely agree.... I have a niece that only ever wanted 'Ninja Turtles' and 'Commandos', and my nephew always played with Barbie and other 'feminine' dolls until he was five or six...
(DONT tell him that I SAID that though please...this kid is more of a BEAST than I was at that age even...22 years old and he looks like friggin Big Show the wrestler...)

McD's in my town charges about $2.50 a pop for the toys only. At Hardee's, they are .99 cents, but Hardee's toys usually suck (Green Hornet excluded).

I made the same comment about Robin in the other thread Chris. Great minds think alike.

The last toys I got at McD's were the B&B figures. Before that was the Lego Batman (but I missed out on the Penguin toy I believe.

Oh sorry guys, didn't realize there was another thread. I don't check out the General Buzz too much.

              "B&B figures" ?

I think we have some of the Looney Tunes/DC characters from a while back...Taz, Daffy as Batman, etc., and I know we have a ton of those 'Animated Series' figures...little Riddlers, catwom(en)...

The worst part about the Batman B&B promotion was that it was pretty much back to back with the Marvel heroes toys last summer.

I was in the middle of training for my come-back 24 hour relay race in Montreal. I simply can't walk into a McDonalds (or any fast food joint) without getting something to eat. I've got the silver medal hanging from my rear-view mirror... every time I pass a drive-through it reminds me that it SHOULD have been gold if I were twenty pounds lighter.

Luckily after that it was Clone Wars finger skateboards, which I have no interest in.

I love the subject, but I get tired of the in-action of most Happy Meal action figures.
