Superman the movie- 6 inch figure line?

Action Figure Insider received news of this late last night, BUT it is not confirmed by Mattel yet. Interesting video. Seems legit, but we'll see.

If the evil Superman is shown does that mean it will cover all 4 movies?

Sounds that way. This could be very cool. I hope it's proven true.

If it's true...that spectacular in SO many ways.

(I won't list them until I see a positive confirmation!)

Hopefully not a matty exclusive. I'll be collecting these for sure. What a cool idea. If only these were Retro Action Superman the Movie.

I'd take actual figures ANY DAY... w/all respect to the Retro Action line
and the potential there w/S:TMP...the last thing I'd be looking for would be
another haphazard S:MP doll.... we've already gotten the 12 inch
motion pic dolls... and they are PASSABLE but I believe when MATTEL makes actual FIGURES ala DCUC and MOTUC they are just STUNNING.

It's cool, but it looks like they're fake. I think AFI removed the post.

Unless they didn't have Mattel's permission to post them yet. There is thread on that in their forum and no one has answered it yet. I would keep my fingers crossed for now.

                        Did they look like this?

                        http://www.figurerealm.com/viewcusto....php?FID=26807

They also posted this after they removed it, in the thread you are talking about:

"We didn't post is as gospel or anything. They seemed dodgy and we said so. It came in at 3:00am I was a little punchy after a day on my feet."

I mean, I'd love to see them produced, but I think what was posted was fake.

That looks like them. Awfully good to be fake. What a shame if that is the case.

I disagree regarding the Lex facesculpt... the DCUC Supes facesculpt is
more like his S:TMP equivalent than that Lex custom... and Mattel wasn't
even particularly TRYING for a Reeve Superman (as far as it was labelled
when it was sold over the past few years).
