I've had some RAH items through my 1:6 scale world. Had a couple of Boba's.
I love the attention to detail. Can't stand the fragile armature. It poses great, but it does not take much to wipe out a shoulder joint on one of these.
The short factor was taken into account with the clone stormtroopers. Medicom added a little spacer thingy at the ankles and pushed those figures up about a quarter of an inch.
I'm thinking of buying a Kotobukiya vinyl figure ($50), cutting out all the armor pieces, and using those on a generic 12 inch figure (with scratchbuilt clothes).

Best bet for the budget-minded is the Hasbro Trilogy Collection Boba. Super poseable, with quality accessories that compares very nicely to the overpriced stuff coming out now.
