    Japanese Toy Magazine

I'm not sure if I'm the only one that finds this kind of thing fascinating, but Toy World posts this Japanese Toy Magazine online every month.
    Untitled Document

I don't read Japanese, but I love looking at the pics just to see a snapshot of what the Japanese toy collecting scene is like these days.

Folks interested in Hot Toys, Kamen Rider, Sentai, Kaiju might want to have a look. There is also some neat coverage of the Iron Man custom and Diorama contest they had at the Hot Toys anniversary party.

Towards the back of the magazine is Transformers, Ultraman and Power Rangers stuff, as well as Robotech and Gundam.

My store in the MEGO MALL!

Ah yes, "Figure King" magazine. That and "Hyper Hobby" seem to be the most popular toy magazines published in Japan, I used to pick up copies of both whenever I visited. I just wish I could read more Japanese so I could fully enjoy them. Sometimes they come with bonus toys and other goodies, neat stuff!

I subscribe to Hobby Japan, which is fantastic. Supersize format, 400 full color glossy pages, a real treat!
No, I can't read Japanese, but the pics are amazing. There's heavy emphasis on Gundam, so you really need to like giant robots, but who doesn't?

Oh yeah, I forgot about Hobby Japan, I used to pick that one up too, even at double the Japanese retail price at Silver Snail and Tower Records (RIP) in Toronto.
