BlackKnight - No way man, I have NO idea who those folks are.... I know them well and am a BIG fan of most of them personally, but like I'm saying here, they arent FREE - do they HAVE to use so MANY re-paints and 'variants'?! In my opinion, it would have sucked BADLY if Mego had flooded the market like this - endless versions of DC's main stable characters, or alternate versions of characters that maybe 1% of the population would give a rat's azz about.....NO thanks - even as a kid I thought that having SIX versions of Han Solo was pretty inane...

The bottom line is, I have to bleed-out $100+ per 'wave' of these things - so that she can proudly own 'Alternate Dimension III BatMan' and 'Deluxe Power Suit Man-Thing'!

Maybe my problem lies with my WIFE and not MATTEL, eh? BAZOOM!
Well, there's only one solution. Divorce!

Gonna pass on the figures. Have no interest in the deputy Lanterns. Now when they had make Atrocitus and the rest, I'll be all over that. I may try to pick up the cnc Anti Monitor pieces though.

There goes another hundred bucks on these things, my wife will of course have to have them all!

Is DC finally out of ideas/creativity? Seems to me that they are going the way of Masters of the Universe - He-Man, Battle Armour He-Man, Thunder He-Man, He-Man in drag, Super Deluxe He-Man, He-Man in a chicken suit....

Good grief...just do the JLU and their respective villians and be DONE with it Mattel - not everyone can AFFORD to buy 'Tang Flavoured Lex' and 'Mr. whats-my-name I was created in the 90s'....

DC Universe 'Classics' - Proudly proving that completists will buy ANYthing!

Sorry for the negativity guys, but I have to BUY all of these things! I mean, hell, its hard ENOUGH for me to shell-out $17 for essentially BROKEN toys, but that is compounded when they release characters like 'Dil-Dough, Third Cousin of Superman'! (ANOTHER Scarecrow?? She already has one...boy, this whole overdone 'Lantern' thing really is a cash cow for DC, eh? Here's one DC: 'The Rainbow Colored Get an Original Idea Lantern'....whaddya think?? )

Personally I never got into this color of the rainbow lantern corp story line. Especially after the stupid Red and Blue Superman story line. The monitor is neat but there is nothing in this line I want.

    You Never Heard of ..

    Luthor
    Atom
    WonderWoman
    Flash
    ScareCrow
    Hal Jordan ?

Just think of this Wave as Variant A Listers, That Actually did Happen in the Comics.

" Make Characters 37+ Year Olds Know, Who Don't read Comics Anymore" .

    Captain Cold
    Cyborg
    BoosterGold
    Blue Beetle

Just to Name a Few ...., = Worse Peg Warmers Ever.

I like the white Lantern Hal ..., I'll probably go for that 1.

    - CNC Anti-Monitor...Any idea how tall he is? Obviously he won't be anywhere near actual scale....
I don't like him as much at 1st glance..., I thought He could be better.

All in all, these Figures Blow Away DC Direct Designs. I can't wait to get them.

I'm a sucker and will get them all. What can I say...

First impressions I like Atom, Scarecrow, Flash, Lex and Anti-Monitor. I don't care for the heads on both Hals. Also not a fan of the painted boots on Wonder Woman. But like I said I'll buy them all. They will make a nice display shelf with other Black Lanterns and Red Mera, when she gets made.

I want Flash and Lex the most. I'll probably get Scarecrow if I see him too.
