I'm such a dork. I remember my teenage crushes as whoever the doctors companions were. hey at 15 she was easy one teh eyes. And i always kept a breast of any points she made onscreen.
I also found it entertaining listening to her "American" accent. Man we had it coming. She really empasised her "R's" didnt she?

first classic companion? I wonder whats so big about Peri? :-D

( if we start getting obscure I'd like to see david Prouse, Jeremy Bulloch, and Pertwees son. any other actors slip in Dr Who we'd know?)

I was mid-20s in college during her tenure, and I STILL had a 'teenage crush' on her..

Aside form the great news that this is a Peri figure, this also means the Companion figure line floodgate is open. Any companion from any Doctor's era can be made. CO & UT can't be nay-sayers now. Classic Doctors already made will probably be re-issued with some of their companions as sets. Could we see Leela, Romana or Jamie & Zoe as early as next year? Or perhaps the year after? Perhaps the Brig and Unit? Time to start making those wish-lists.

I hope they haven't totally quit on Classic Doctors yet.

I'd still like to see Tom Baker as Holmes from Weng-Chiang

This should mean that we could see a Zoe figure some day.
