Was a bit of a pain in the azz, as it always is, but my wife was able to get her 2-packs that she has been begging me for:

      Starfire/Adam Strange
      Animal Man/other dude
Lantern 2-pack - somebody and somebody, hell if I know their names!
(I know that it was 90 BUCKS though..ughh...)

      Take care -

Black Knight - My wife has trade buddies on various sites, as to the MOTUC - we can get any character for usually right around cost. (Also, she has the subscription thing...I was against that myself, half of these characters they have been producing I couldnt give a rat's balls about, but she wants them, so..)
Speaking of that, isnt it 'supposed' to be the WIFE hounding the HUSBAND for their expensive hobbies?!? Christ, between the FIVE lines that she collects for, I'm going to be on skid row soon!! I'm just thankful that those damned 'Marvel Legends' are OVER - I got very tired of plunking down $10-$15 for the 255th version of Wolverine..

'Digital River', or Mattel themselves, or WHOMever is responsible make it VERY difficult to purchase their product...

If I'm plunking down $30 for a figure, I shouldnt have to FIGHT and BEG for it....it infuriates me.
(And then, when you GET the figures, they have loose ankle, sloppy paint, etc..)

Alas though, as I said, my wife needs and loves the characters, sooo...
(Dont get me wrong, I dont fight for the bast@rds, hell no - I REFUSE to play the role of methed-out hoodrat that comes slinking back to the greasebag dealer - BUT it's a very TENSE time when it comes order time - thats why I buckled and just told her to get the damned subscription - if I'm going to have to overpay for essentially BROKEN toys, I may as well be GUARANTEED them, eh? )

Personally though? I feel that it's like bad service at a rest. or Tina going back to Ike repeatedly: you damned well KNOW what your in for, so buck-UP and AVOID the situation! ...cough..."matty"...cough...... I wont get into their new "corporate mascot" either - the way that kid is drawn makes me wanna punch his face in - kinda like that 'Red Mist' kid from the film Kick-***! )

"matty.com" = study in utter incompetence. Dont believe me? Just listen to Scott Neitlich drone on with another barrelful of excuses...ughhh...you'll wanna put a gun in your mouth inside of two minutes!

            But ANYway...lol

I think what they should do to help their situation is to not put all the new merch out at the same time. Have a Ghostbusters day, a He-Man day, and a DC day. Then they'll have less traffic on site all at the same time.

I was logged on and ready to go about 5 minutes before noon yesterday but it took 18 minutes to complete the sale.
