Maybe with the release of the burgundy version they feel this one has to be pushed out the door.

Even though i'm not a huge fan of the burgundy era, I have to admit the burgundy figure is probably my most favorite figure in the line (so far)

It's just so dang perfect, imo

      I highly recommend it.

Only drawback is it don't come with a s.s. which is no big deal.

I have no love for JNT era Doctor Outfits, I think this would have been the eight Doctor:

I think a lot of what I like about the burgundy version is the head sculpt.

It looks great -- even really close-up

            This TARDIS mug is funny.

Apparently the designers didn't think it out.

A mug with a square top is a dribble glass

Agreed.. Despite my love for Davison.., JNT was a terrible choice for taking over DW.

For me, Burgandy Doc is incomplete without Romano in her matching version from the Dalek episode.

I remeber when he took over. Or right after . I was a teen in teh American Fan club. Local meetings in a baseemnt grown ups everything.

I thought he saved it at the time.

I love teh burgendy dr, but I would rather him have teh socks and shoes and hat. The face is good but depressing.

I have wanted this Tom Baker figure for a while Palitoy thanks for teh post but If I buy one I know i will lose control just like last year and teh Action Man 40th series.

Uasually I would wait and get them later when people tire of them but from what i hear theyre going UP. Whovians have waited a long time for this.

Any news on teh 12 inch line? Classic Doctors maybe

I had just gotten into Who around '78 while in high school and the local PBS affiliate was showing all the old episodes, catching up the what was then current. When I saw the 'starfield' opening.., I immediately hated it for being way too cheesy.

I don't like either Baker face sculpt, quite frankly. I'm holding out for the dark brown (or gray) coat from the later-SarahJane and then Leela/Romana (pre-burgundy) years as well.

I know it sounds picky, but I'm not in any rush to spend money. Still happy with customizing my Denys Baker

Are you talking about the Pyramids figure, David ?

Yea, I still need that one too.

                      Kind of expensive, though

Ive taken to watching a LOT of figure reviews I cn't afford.

I DO get a little jealous sometimes. Some teenage kid has four of the 11 doctor sets and I'm afraid to ask Santa for ONE .

Of course if It werent for online toy reviews I would have gone ahead and bought that Iron Man 2 helmet and looked like an idiot. ( I had to see another adult wearing the thing happily before it hit me.)
