I went back one last time yesterday just in case and still nothing. The whole week this sale has been going on they have not had 1 figure of anything. What a waste. I got a raincheck for all the good it will do me apparently.

i ended up buying one of the all star superman figures after going there everyday for the past week anticipating the new wave. nothing yet. got hassled about using the coupon that greg posted. had to ask for a manager who overrode her employee. $3 for supes is a great deal.

Coupon acceptance is subjective per each store it seems.. mine told me I needed to have my child with me to use the coupon, some have refused to honor it completely. I pointed out the coupon did not say kids needed to be there.. so, they gave me the $5 off one toy. Not sure it's worth dealing with this each time, but if it works/worked for you then use them while you can, and more power to you. F'n' kmart and mattel.. I despise them both.

They are for $5 off any ONE item, and there is NO limit usage, making the DC figures $2 and change when combined with the K-Mart sale.

Pretty sweet if you are into these things!
Thanks for making sure we were aware of the coupon, any little bit off does help

Found all the figures today except Ted Knight Starman, someone found the case sitting in a pile of stock getting ready to be put out and pulled him-it was the only one missing in the case, maybe next time.

Well, I went back again today. First I stopped by TRU. They do not match prices. Next I hit Target, who does, but all they had were Dr. Mid-Nites. Don't really need any more of him. Went to Kmart and spent 2 hours there waiting for them to unload the truck only to tell me they didn't get any. Got a raincheck (not that I'll get a chance to use it).

If any one has an extra Ted Knight Starman I'd be interested.

For new toys Zellers is pricier and they don't replenish the stock too often.

However, over the years I've found hitting up Zellers in small towns and cities to be quite fruitful given the fact that things tend to sit in there for decades.

At the Zellers in Kingston on Princess Street in the late nineties, I found a bunch of Mattel Simpsons, and on the same trip I even found a boxed set of the Trick or Treaters from Nightmare Before Christmas at the local family run department store which recently closed it's doors.

Although... does Zellers still do price matching? Might be worth taking discounted toys from Winners there to see if they will go down on them.

Interesting ratio. I might have to try that price match. Except I have everything that's still hanging around. How many Dr. Mid-Nites can one person use. Although I haven't been to TRU to see if they got the exclusive gold Flash lately.

I went back to Kmart today just to be sure. When I got there they were 3 pallets of toys being put out. I asked the guy about the DCUC figures and he said all these toys were from last weeks truck. He said they'd get another truck later in the week that might have them.
