Ultimate Spiderman would have been an interesting choice... particularly with the reboot movie coming out.
Not sure if any kids or even many non comics reading collectors would really know The Young Avengers, Runaways, New Warriors or the latest generation of teen X-Men.
Much more DC teens to choose from though... Robin and the rest of the Teen Titans.
I wish Playing Mantis had been able to release Speed Racer. Were they working on Johnny Quest as well?Comment

Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Now let's do the Marvel costumes in 8" scale. And add some obscure DC characters that Mattel won't make in the next decade.Comment

Egads, these are cool!
Who's putting them out--are they exclusives?WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Since we've got threads in two sections running on this topic, I'm posting this in both:
New info direct from the folks at CA Enterprises:
Round 2 corporation is the company putting them out in fall of 2011.
Most of the releases will be through Toys R US, but they will be
putting out exclusive versions of some suits for specialty shops via
Diamond.
So the 2010 date posted by Julius Marx is inaccurate, which confirms my suspicions regarding the Playing Mantis and Toy Biz pieces we see incorporated into the prototypes.
Round 2 is essentially Polar Lights reborn. Interesting...Last edited by The Batman Professor; Oct 10, '10, 1:34 PM.sigpicSWEAR TO ME!Comment

Eh...Saw this in person at ComicCon.
They look great but I don't understand WHY they HAD to do them in 12" format when the 8" format has already been established?!?!
Great Idea...Wrong Format IMHO
