    Star Wars Vintage Collection Sandtrooper

I did not even know they were going to make this. I found this one today not even really looking for one. So I figured why not. It looked pretty cool so I went ahead and snagged it. Anyone else seen these yet?

Yep, the Sandtrooper is from wave 2 of the Star Wars Vintage Collection. WalMart right now has a tone of these figures. Got mine yesterday!

Cool! I like this one. I think I may start me an army of these.

I just finished searching the net right after I posted this and you are right. I see that this is indeed from Wave 2 - Revenge of the Sith. Here is a link with the other Waves listed as well.

I picked one up today, though the paint is far less perfect than the one you pictured. I'm a sucker for Sandtroopers so I grabbed him anyway.

The only things that bugs me is they packed him with his pack upside down. So far everyone I have seen in stores and on the web is like that. Oh well.

            Thanks for pics, D.
Been hoping to grab a couple of these puppies but it seems these guys are popular around these parts. Anyone in the Seattle area luck out?

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah I see that now. Thanks for the link. I obviously missed that one some where along the lines. Nothing like reinventing the wheel ehh?

You bet! It is nice to know that my new thread actually served a purpose after all.

                  Oh yeah!

Looks amazing. Always wanted this one for the '78 line back when I was a kid.
I keep coming back to look at the photos. I'm gonna have to get a three. 2 for home and one for work on the wall. Great figure and packaging. Glad they are doing these cards.
Now, for Grand Moff Tarkin and the Bith Cantina Band!!

The Prequel stuff just doesn't look right on these cards.

It is weird to see them on the vintage card but for me it makes them look a lot better.

I thought the same thing but when I saw a clone trooper in person, it was pretty cool. So was the Obi Wan. I was tempted to pick up the clone trooper but then I remembered why I don't own any figures from those movies.
Only prefer the Original and Expanded Universe.

Yeah.... That's what I said too, but I broke down and got the two clone troopers, no more. I will NOT buy Anny or Obi though.

IMHO they actually look much better in this style package, all the figures look suckey in the soulless, heartless, looks like it was designed by a out of collage hack using Photoshop for a project, just terrible looking, poor designed, packaging they have now. There is no comparison, it is night and day.

The packaging is definitely a hit with me. I will more than likely cherry pick the figures that I want vs. buying them all. So far I just have Fett and the Sand Trooper. Darth did not look too bad. I just did not grab him though when I had the chance.
