Michael Jackson fans will be happy to see an affordable alternative to the Hot Toys Michael Jackson figures - Playmates new 10" versions! I'm doing an early review of the Billie Jean version, and while it has a few issues, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Customizers may be particularly interested in checking out the smaller scale body that might work well for kid figures in sixth scale.

Not bad. I may be tempted to buy one. However, I'm still finding it hard to listen to Michael's music or watch any footage of him. (no , I didn't see This Is It) I know my attitude should be to celebrate his life, not mourn his death, but even after a year the phrase, "Michael Jackson is dead", is still just so WRONG to me.

But the figure does Michael justice, and I'm sure that he's proud of it.
