New DCUC and Marvel legends figures too articulate?

I think they have way too many joints to move, why do the legs need to turn above the knee? mine can't do that...

    opinions?

    I like articulation.

The cut joint above the knee allows poses that simulate leg rotation - like say, sitting indian style.

So they can be posed in dirty positions.

DC Universe are the best figures ever.
They do not get loose like the Marvel Legends did , atleast mine are not.
And there is nothing cooler than being able to actually pose your figure in Every Single Comicbook pose ever. Fantastic Stuff.

I opened a couple of the new DC Direct Blackest Night figures, and was so ****ed off, that the figured couldn't even stand, and with the Super Powers -esque articulation, they do nothing. Just cheap Statues. I woulda bought every 1 of them if made like DC Universe figures ..., instead, It's a figure or 2 , here or there.

I have to say I prefer less articulation in figures.
There's such a thing as going too far regarding articulation!

I'm for less articulation...the figures look much better with out all the pins and slots. I've read many comics in my day and have never seen spidey sit indian style!

Gi Joe 25th ann have too much as well.

If DCUC have too many joints for you, I'd suggest buying DC Direct.

And your figures are too articulate? Dude, once they start talking to you, there's not much we'll be able to do for you... :D

I think some of the earliest Marvel Legends were a bit ugly, as they tried to have to many joints and didn't hide them well (sounds like a Cheech and Chong movie plot). Some of them looked like bad marionettes right out of the package. They got better as they went along, and the DCUC figures are a prime example of great articulation not marring a great sculpt. I love them, I just wish it wasn't so damn hard to find the majority of them, and I wish they were cheaper!

I have to agree. I much as I love the old ML figures I really had problems with the earliest figures having so much articulation that they did not stand properly. The first ML Captain America comes to mind. I don't have a real problem with DCUC figure articulation at all... Just the price.

^^^ I think the 1st Captain America is the Best Marvel Legends, and my Personal Fav to Date, next to the Sentinal and Walmart Thor .
