Star Wars figures sale FYI

Just so you know I was at a local TRU the other day and noticed that the figures were on sale. They were like buy one at $7.99 and get one free. That seemed like a pretty good deal even though I did not personally buy any myself. I am not into the newer figures so I passed.

I just want to pass this info along for those that are interested. I am not sure how long the sale will go on or if it is at the other TRU locations.

I was going to take a picture and post it, but I got distracted looking at new retro figures and took pictures of them instead. I was so happy to find a retro batman that I totally forgot all about taking the pictures of the Star War figures on sale. Some times I am amused so easily.

Thats great to know D, since they have the Rocket Firing Fett mail away. I'm not sure how many POPs you need for the figure though.

From what I have read on the card it takes 5 POP for the Rocket Firing Fett mail away.

that sale is misleading as it doesnt apply to the vintage style carded ones. the pops on the ones on sale tho, will work for the mail away fett figure.

Its not bad but good for the any kids parents because for the price of one you get two. So the kids will be happy and older collectors if you like newer figures. But man just like anything prices of new toys today are just high and mind blowing!!!

You got that right. I finally broke down a couple weeks ago and bought one of the retro carded ESB Fett's though. I cringed at paying that much....but hey, I wanted it. That's the first "newer" Star Wars figure that I've bought in probably 3-5 years.

My younger brother who doesn't collect anything saw the figures and said "How many times is Hasbro going to recycle these figures and ideas?!?!?!"

Happened here in Seattle but now it's over. Most of the TRU's are here got all new shipments of the newest waves so the sale ended. But at least they have all the new figures and vehicles. Finally picked up two Fetts. It's been two weeks since I've seen that sale. Seems to have ended after Celebration V.
