New Tonner 13 inch scale DC Stars Supergirl

DC Stars in new 13 inch scale. Wonder Woman not shown.

Tonner: Fall/Holiday Character Figure Collection - Figures.com Forums

The outfit looks great but the facial sculpt is a little too generic and the jawline is a hair severe. I'm sure the quality is excellent but for the price it's just not quite there for me. Hopefully Wonder Woman will be better.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Looks like Annette O'Toole. Too mature. Not good.

It's a nice try, but it looks like a drag queen.

Tonner ... well-crafted, but just not for me.

The outfits on the Tonner dolls are always spectacular, but some of the faces leave something to be desired. And once again, I can't stand when they make male characters in lines like this. They just look wrong.
I have to add that I love that Miss Piggy.

The outfit looks great, but that head sculpt isn't doing much for me. It's just not right.

The LOTR Galadriel looks really nice though.

The Tonners are an odd lot. Great quality but they lose a lot in execution. I think the problem is the male characters are sculpted too effeminate looking and the female characters are sculpted to masculine looking. The female characters often have really severe jawlines.

And I do agree that Piggy is done really well.

                [Edit]

I think their best female sculpt was the Tomb Raider one. She actually has a feminine jawline for once.

That Lara Croft looks like a dang pretty sculpt to me.

And yeah, if I had more bucks I'd consider that great Piggy.

No offense to people who collect these but... who collects these? The product itself seems too girly for action figure collectors, and the licenses seem too boyish for doll collectors. They must be selling though 'cause it seems like Tonner's been making everything under the sun lately.

Haha. This thread reminded me, a couple of days ago my Dad was sitting in my toyroom (without his glasses on) and he said, hey I like blondie and Batman...

To be fair, he was sitting at an angle where he couldn't see Batgirl's hair, but I just cracked up.

I had to enlighten him...Dad you know me

Alas, you equate action figure collectors with men...bit narrow-minded don't you think?

The detail and styling is exquisite.

When it comes to action figures? No. In my experience, male collectors vastly outnumber female collectors.

                            That's hot.

I actually like the bigger 1st edition Tonner Supergirl. I'm always watching eBay in hopes of getting one in my cheap price range.

A majority does not negate the minority.
