Anyone collect these ???

Is 50bucks really the cheapest you can get them for ?
I know they are Imports ..., I just thought some one somewhere's would have them cheaper.

I have one of Superman I picked up on eBay for around $35. It's bigger than I thought and the box is really nice. Certainly better than those overpriced Blammoid things.

These things come from Japan ...., if they were released by DC Direct, I think I could get them for 25.00 or so ...

Nope, sadly not imports they are indeed from DC Direct. These are what they call "designer/urban toys" which is basically we say they are high end so they are expensive. I have the GL (modern) for my GL collection. I own a comic shop and he was defiantly more then $25 and that was at cost! So seeing these guys at $50 is pretty good for the average comic shop ideal of charging at least double what they pay for it. So far they have a Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Flash and each one has at least 3 different paint jobs. they are pretty big at 8" tall and sport around 12 points of articulation. All in all I like my GL but I am not 100% sure I would have gotten him if it wasn't at cost.

8inches tall ..., actually sounds pretty cool. I thought they were more so rescue hero size.

Sounds and looks pretty cool. Just what I would need though. Something else for me to collect. At least they are 8" so that is good.

I know the numbers do not sound like a lot. Thirteen of them total. Although I have a pretty ridiculous collection of other stuff taking up lots O'room though. Be my luck I would just buy the set of them and then they would start making some more. LOL!!

Those will look great in your GL shine for sure. I hope that you can track them down and add them to your collection in the near future.

I liked them, I think they are neat.

But they're way overpriced and just a cheap attempt to cash in on the high end urban vinyl movement.

I would love to get into these, but not at that price point.
