Winners.....Really?

Shopping with the girlfriend today and got dragged (kicking and screaming) into a Winners store for the first time. Was shocked...SHOCKED!...to find they not only had a toy section, but it was chock full of DC goodness. They had a bushel basket of the Infinite figures and the three packs, the recent Unlimited figure lines, and the US Target JLU stuff. The three packs from the Luthor, shade, Cheetah and Batman Beyond, Old Bruce, and the other guy (?) wave. Plus all were at clearance prices. The Infinite singles were 3.99, the packs were 9.99 or 6.99 depepnding on which one it was. The Unlimited figures from the Killowog wave were 12.99, and the older waves were 10.99. The Target 3 packs were 6.99.

I waited until I got home, then faster than the Flash headed back and stocked up!! Have to check out the other stores in Calgary now to see if theres more to be found!!??

(wonder if they will get the leftover Sinestro's and Lex Luthors from the retro line?)

I always pop into Winners to see what they have. Lots of Superhero goodies tend to pop up there on clearance. In addition to the Infinite Heroes and JLU, I've picked up everything from Bobbleheads to Batman Begins/Dark Knight, DC and Marvel Barbies, Marvel Legends, DC Universe, Super Hero Squad, the 9" Mego-like Marvel Origins, Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Spiderman movie stuff, and even Spiderman statues and busts.

I find the urban ones are cleared out of good stuff pretty fast, but more rural and suburban (depending on the suburb) tend to have better stock.

I'm not really expecting the Retro Heroes since they seem only to be available in Comic Stores in Canada, but you never know.

I'm not sure how often you pop into Walmart, but they were clearing out Wolverine and the X-Men Animated and Wolverine Origins figures for two bucks a pop a few weeks back. All the Walmarts closest to the city, they were all gonzo right away of course, but I'm still finding them in rural and suburban locations.

Heck, I'm still finding two dollar Qwardian Weaponer and OMAC Infinite Heroes at two bucks and they were clearing these months ago.

I managed to get Killer Moth at Winners just the other day. I should go back and see if they have anything else. Hoping for Shazam or Black Costume Superman.

Also, Liquidation World has the JLU 3 packs for 10 bucks each. I got 3 of the sets. Batman Beyond etc, Cheetah etc, Question etc.

I'd like to get the Batman Beyind set but they never showed here.

I would love to buy a Batman beyond set if you have any for sale. They never showed up around me.
