i gave up on the line. Became too much of a hassle getting the figures I wanted. The high price with shipping didn't help either. Sold most of mine off, keeping just a few. May jump back on board someday...I dunno.

Yesterday was the first time this year i tried to get the figures on the sale date. I was supposed to pick up figs for myself and 2 other members. I logged into my matty account at 11:30 and was ready to go. I actually made it to the order page 4-5 times and it would redirect me back to the wait page. I almost put my fist through my laptop. Matty is pathetic and it stinks this great toyline is being ruined.

        Thinking about the Same ....
I just really don't feel like giving the line any More Money, or trying to do so. The Store , and everything to do with the new figures, has really become a Joke. Let someone else deal with the Hassel. Starting to loose interest here.

if it's any comfort, Matty ruined the last MOTU line too.

That was because of a Different Skeletor and He-Man with everything.
I liked those figures, have almost all of them.

They came out around 2002 ..., with a Cartoon series ... The Cartoon is now collected in 3 Volumes. I think the Toon is Bad Arse myself. You can Pick most figures up rather cheap. However figures like Evil Lynn, and Roboto , you might pay alittle for. And then Stuff like Snake Armor He-man ..., good luck, He was only a Forgein release. I do have 1. ... Then when the line was canceled, do to the reason I wrote, then cartoon network dropped the toon...., The 4 Horsemen Sculpted like 5or6 Waves of Stacticon Statues of the characters, same scale, no movement, but the line had little movent anyways. Stuff like Webstor and Jitsu can go for 100 bucks a figure.

They will have to. People are already loosing interest, if this keeps up they'll either have to discontinue the line or fix the problem. Loose money or make money... which do you think they'll go for?

I dunno Thomas ..., they just took down all order complaint threads on thier Forum, and re-directed everyone else where, as if they just trying to ignore it. Sure, go over here, and call this, so where people can't read it.

Having dozens and dozens of complaint threads isn't good for business, so i can understand why they don't want them there. At least they're redirecting them and not flat out deleting them and hopefully eventually they'll fix it

They need to just put this line out at retail allready. I'm about through with the Matty/Digital River mess. I'm actually happy that Bandai grabbed the Thundercats license. I don't think I could have dealt with the stress of even attempting to collect another line that could only be found on mattycollector.com !

I'm surprised they don't just do a lottery, where the selected people automatically get their credit card charged if they win. This would give them a greater idea of the interest in the line and they might be able to adjust production runs accordingly. Have the signup two months early, right before the line goes into production, advice the factory to make X Thousand figures with a certain % higher than the initial signup, and throw them on the boat.

I love 'em. I prefer the style to the Retro Downgrades they're making now. I wish my Skeletor looked threatening like he did in 2002.

instead he just looks like the oaf from the Failmation show.

Maybe when that new Masters of the Universe movie gets made, and figures find their way back to retail they will be more like the 2002 line. I get the feeling that when these return to stores it will be more like a Movie-Masters and a 4" line like for "Avatar" and "Dark Knight". The MOTUC line will probably continue on mattycollector.com for die-hards and collectors. That would be a win-win situation. I doubt that the movie line would bring much in the way of Filmation's design aesthetics to that toyline. I could be wrong though. Probably the 4" scale would be the only viable option for Castle Grayskull and vehicles too. But who knows? Maybe if Thundercats is sucessful enough for Bandai, Mattel might get off their butts and get some Masters of the Universe cartoons back out there and get us every available Heman toy variation back out there!
