Character Options - 11 Doctor box set

Just got a pre-order notice for this set of all 11 Doctors, which is due out at the beginning of August.

There are a couple of interesting variations in there, including a totally new Tom Baker head and body sculpt.

The McGann figure looks great. It looks much more like him than the previous picture i saw.

Forbidden Planet are charging £46.99 ( RRP £49.99 ).
It might sound a bit pricey but it actually works out around £4.30 each, half the usual price of a single figure.

I just hope they release McGann as a single too, so i can have a loose one without having to buy another set.

Mike, I have you covered with a Pertwee and i think i've got another Tom Baker somewhere.

5L a figure is a great price for these guys. They are probably double that at the only shop around here that carries UT Doctor Who things.

Yeah, the Tom looks really good.
The expression reminds me of his face in the main titles.

The only one i'm not that keen on is the Pertwee, his jacket is too green and it makes the whole figure looks cartoonish.

It looks like Character have used the top half from the Green Death figure and the bottom half from the Death to the Daleks figure to make an outfit he never wore on the show.
Personally i think they should have gone with the Sea Devil Figure or done the 5 Doctors outfit.

For Pertwee, I think if they would have made his shirt white the jacket wouldn't look so loud.

I've avoided getting the individual figures because of cost, but the idea of this set has me definitely interested. I could definitely make room for this boxset.

Someone mentioned Richard Grant--we need all the wannabee Doctors in a set, starting with Peter Cushing. How about a Trevor Martin stage figure, and the whole Curse of Fatal Death sequence? I'd hate to have to start tracking down Bean figures to convert for Rowan Atkinson...

And where's the Richard Hurndall "Five Doctors" variant?

Yeah, it's the first outing for that costume and head.

Tennant is made up from 2 different releases.

All of the above are not "offical" Doctors so I suspect they wont get made.

Even Richard Hurndall technically isn't official because he suppose to be the Willaim Hartnell Doctor - which was already made.

Peter Cushing's movies are owned by a different company so that leads me to believe he'll never be made.
