That's my Story since January.
1st time it really P...ed me off ... 2nd time it happened, I was upset ..., 3rd time it happened I sighed..., now when it happens I don't even care,... and am to the point where I will no longer "collect them all" ..., and perhaps maybe not at all in the future..., if I can not get them on the site. If I think this way ..., I know alot of others to as well,.. and Mattel is slowly destroying this line imo.
On a plus note though ..., because of the re-issues of characters, it seems from ebay prices , after a figure sells out, wait a month, and go to ebay, most figures only fetch around 5to15 bucks more than over 20. Mattel can have thier fast sell outs to try and make the line have allure, as well as basically making people get subscriptions so they can ensure no over head per figure, ... but it seems as if the 2ndary value of these has dropped off...., these are going to end up being less scalped in the future because of this.Last edited by BlackKnight; Jun 6, '10, 1:22 PM.... I've noticed this to. After the hype and hysteria calms down, in a about a month or two, you can get most figures close to matty prices. I think Matty stressing fast sellouts and popular figures with be constantly re-issued has helped this a lot. If something is in a cart, it should be a lock that you get it. I mean, unless someone steals something from your real shopping cart, you always make it out of the store with it, right?
I've resisted this line. It's been really hard. They are really nice figures. But I'm glad I've spared myself the drama and heartache.

I was recently luck enough to purchase a lot of these figures for what they actually cost when they were released. The best part is, the combined shipping probably saved me about 75 bucks because matty charges about ten bucks for each figure and I got them all at once.....
