    Green Lantern Classics?

I just read this on DCcollector.com : DCcollector.com Green Lantern Classics from Mattel? Has any one else heard anything about this? It sounds great! I'll be in for each. There are no pics yet and it says there will be more announced at SDCC. The "Arkillo" wave is rumored to include:
    Kyle
    Mongul
    Black Hand
    Black Lantern
    Manhunter
    Sinestro
    Sinestro Corps Low
    Sinestro Corps Maash
    and the C&C Arkillo!

All I can say is there goes my spending cash! I think this is a great idea and maybe just maybe I can finally get a 6" scale Ch'p figure! And maybe Jack Chance! And Rott Lop Fan!!!! Oh man my list is miles long! Also they said the line would be comic based and not movie based, so that is groovy as well! Who's on your wish list??

No if about it. It was released today that the August issue of Toyfare will have pix.

"This may be just a little more than advance notice, but ToyFare #158, on newsstands on August 11, will highlight a new theme for DC Universe Classics – the Legion of Super-Heroes. This may not come as a surprise to those of you who know that Validus, the Collect and Connect figure that Mattel just announced for DC Universe Classics wave 15, is a big LoSH villain.

Thanks to the folks at CriticalMess for discovering the announcement. They’ve also got a nice series of articles on the Legion, for those of you looking for a primer. Great stuff!

                      * They are Legion! The Legion of Super-Heroes invade Mattel’s red-hot DC Universe Classics

I really hope that they're in their 70s costumes....DC Direct has already done quite a few of the original Silver Age suits....I think the majority of the 70s suits are the ones most fans would want to see (with the exception of probably Cosmic Boy )

The 70s legion suits are the best. I have a feeling if DC Direct had of produced figures in the 70s suits the figures would have sold better.

But who doesn't love the 70s Saturn Girl and Princess Projectra and shadow Lass and Phantom Girl. Some of the hottest women in comics. I'm a biig fan of Grell's run. I know Cockrum designed most of the updated costumes, but I still liked Grell's art better.
